Horse Boarding / Lessons and Training
Hunters and Equitation
Horses at Three's A Charm Farm usually have hay in front of them all day.
A horse needs to chew 14-16 hours a day. Of course if they are overweight they get less. Feeding time is twice daily consisting of wet beet pulp (warm in winter) and a 10/10/10% sweet feed (protein fat, fiber, etc.). All horses get bran mash weekly. The horses are turned out daily, except in extreme weather. The horses are individually turned out or paired up if a suitable match can be found. Stalls are cleaned twice a day. Water buckets are emptied and refreshed daily. If supplements and/or medication are recommended (you provide), we will administered them at no charge.
Showing weekly - Local through "A", AHS, PHSA, EPPHA, and USAE
